Four Philosophies

1. Adjusting to our home: We ensure cattle first settle down. Get fully adjusted to our environment. Like when we go to a new place, we need to get familiar and comfortable. The same applies to our cattle. 2. A happy calf, means a happy mother and healthy milk: We don’t use our cattle as milking machines. We accord the same importance to the cow/buffalo as we do to a mother. Here before the cow is milked, compulsorily we ensure that the calf is well fed and fully satisfied. The mother has to be content and happy, when it is milked. Happy cattle? And happy cattle always give healthy milk. 3. Everything we do here is natural: No additives, no artificial interventions, no antibiotics. Cattle roam free, unfettered and love the free grazing. They live and thrive in an unhurried environment. In addition to all of this are naturally grown nutritious feeds and the routine health and disease checks. 4. Nutritious in, nutritious out: We grow Super Napier and Cofar in our own farm. It takes 45 days for those saplings to grow and get the first crop. Once we get that we cut that and process it to feed. It’s a perennial crop. Every morning once the cattle have been fed and they leave, our team comes to the fields and cuts the feed grass. As much as needed for the day. The reason why we chose these two varieties of grass is because of the high nutritional content and value. So when the mother eats nutritious food, it gives nutritious milk.
